I just got back a 2 week trip from California last night. It was FABULOUS! My friends and I got to go to San Francisco, Napa, Moneterey (Monterey Bay Aquarium!), Santa Monica, Anaheim (Disneyland), La Jolla, San Diego (Sea World), Redondo Beach, and all the cities in between! 🙂 I was the official navigator for 2 weeks, which meant I rode shotgun for 2 weeks… Woot woot! I’ll have a TON of travel photos up in a little bit. (I have 2 midterms this week, so they’ll be up shortly after)
But while I was there, I was super lucky to attend a Jessica Claire workshop. I actually planned the California trip, then got an e-mail from Jessica saying that she was offering a workshop when I was going to be in the area ANYWAY. I thought it was PERFECT how it worked out, so off I went! The workshop was AMAZING! I learned a LOT, met 18 new friends, and Jessica coordinated a super cute styled shoot (all vendors linked below). It was such an amazing day; I was EXHAUSTED by the end! We also had a fabulous dinner cooked by Jeff and Michael Norwood. And [b]ecker dropped by for dinner too! (He totally recognized me from his Vancouver workshop! ;D) I’m blogging this “session” in 4 parts, since I can’t narrow down my favourites. Haha. So get ready! 🙂
Off to the fabulous photos… But first, here’s the list of the AWESOME vendors!
Workshop: Â Jessica Claire
Stylist: Duet Weddings
Flowers: Kate Holt of Flowerwild
Models: Â Braedon & Lindsay Flynn
Cake: Erica O’brien
Linen & pillows: La Tavola
Rentals: Classic Party Rentals (flatware and cake table)
Rentals: Badia Design (Spanish door, iron screen, Moroccan poufs)
I think something about California light makes the bokeh even more wonderful…
Isn’t Lindsay GORGEOUS?! She’s like a cross between Rachel Bilson and Reese Witherspoon.
Braedon and Lindsay! 🙂 Super sweet!
The Californian light <3 <3 <3
Seriously. I don’t think they can be ANY cuter.
Okay. This is part 1/4. I’ll post parts 2, 3, and 4 in the upcoming days! :):) The workshop was AMAZING, and I can’t wait to see photos from the other attendees! 😀

Hi Sherry, my bad to look at these pretty photos this late. The setting and the couple are amazing!
All of these Sherry……you couldn’t have done any better if you’d tried. Of course Jessica puts together a kick ass wrokshop, you had gorgeous models and the light looked dee-vine, but the photographer still has to know how to work it. And you WORKED it! Aside from everything being so insanely gorgeous, was the workshop worth every penny?! The answer is sort of a given, but I’d love to know if you learned a lot……..did I mention I LOVE these?!
[…] photos from the workshop!!! Check out Part 1, Part 2 , and Part 3 if you haven’t […]
