I had the opportunity to photograph Aimee & Roy’s wedding earlier this month, and it was lots of fun times! 🙂 I met Aimee through her best friend (and maid of honour), who happened to be my roommate when I studied abroad in Taiwan. Her name is Sherry; it was pretty much the best. She was Small Sherry (at 4’10”), and I was Canadian Sherry. There was also a Tall Sherry (who was 5’10”), but I digress. I’ve known Aimee for a couple years, and I always made a point to photograph her and Small Sherry whenever I visited LA, since the light there is so beautiful <3 So when the chance came up for me to photograph her wedding, I jumped at it.

Aimee and Roy got married at Occidental College, and it was such a beautiful campus 🙂 The chapel has such a cool stained glass window, and the campus had fun places for us to photograph before the reception. The reception was filled with funny and touching speeches- all sorts of tears were shed 😉 Cake-cutting was also made very interesting (you’ll see later) by a very mischievous Roy. And there were some dancey people among their guests; I love a fun dance floor!
