March was a busy month for me, in terms of travel. I got to spend 10 days on the east coast (Philadelphia and New York), then after a week at home, I left for Nanaimo for four days. I forgot how much I love Vancouver Island- its quaintness and all.

I got the BEST cinnamon buns EVER at Old Town Bakery in Ladysmith (~20 minutes south of Nanaimo). Seriously, their peanut butter cinnamon bun was to-die-for. I’m drooling just thinking about it. Other notable food places include: Le Cafe Francais and Gina’s Mexican Cafe. The Crow & Gate Pub is also really good (I went last time I was on the island ;D)
